JAROMIN PUBLISHING is the company name under which Robert Cox publishes and produces his work.
Over the past 30 years Rob has worn an assortment of hats in England and Australia as a children’s author, TV sitcom writer, travel writer, copywriter, broadcaster, presenter and voice over artist. His weekly Down-Under ‘Bush Telegraph’ radio diary ran for several years on BBC Radio Kent and his ‘Children’s Authors TV’ educational DVDs sell globally. On returning to the UK in 1997 Rob teamed up with childhood friend and illustrator Jim Robins to produce four children’s picture books. He is currently trying to complete his first novel for publication later this year, 2011.
The Diary: Since 2005 he has been transcribing, editing and designing the Diary of Elizabeth Campbell, first shown to him by a close friend (the diarist’s great niece, Roz Hartshorn) in the mid 1980’s in Brisbane. Instantly captivated by its passionate style and fascinating content he vowed to one day transform it into a book that others might hopefully enjoy. Twenty years later he began the transcription, resulting in the publication of what he now describes as ‘the greatest obsession of my life’, with the first of several review features appearing in ‘The Organ’ magazine in August 2011.
